MEET MARCELA
Marcela holds a business degree from Duquesne University and MBA from Fairfield University. With Latin American roots, her studies and marriage took her across the US, from Connecticut to Miami, and in 2015 moved into Spring Valley, Houston to raise her family in what she calls her ‘dream come true’ neighborhood, where she keeps a close knit of friends and volunteers with St. Cecilia Parish.
While building a career in Marketing, Marcela was highly influenced by her daily commute through the Miami Design District and the neighborhood where she lived on Biscayne Blvd, known by design gems of the 1940’s. Here she tested her first renovation project and the home listing got record number of visits.
After a relocation to Houston, Marcela answered her calling and jumped into the world of Interiors. In 2015 she collaborated in her brother’s business in building luxury custom homes and in 2017 became a key player to Houston’s largest showroom for Italian furniture brands.
Trained in Italy with the most celebrated furniture brands in the industry, Marcela acquired deep technical knowledge on the factors that define quality and elegance in residential interiors. Her role with the showroom positioned her as a trusted vendor to Houston’s most recognized design firms, and the luxury staging services she managed for condo developers gave Marcela exposure to amazing properties and sophisticated clients from around the world. Training and experience met with Marcela’s true talent – the ability to listen and connect with her clients. Marcela unpacks every client she meets, translates and educates them about their vision, and then infuses every project with joy – while staging to sell or staging to live. Everyone can celebrate the energy of a room well styled.
